erhvervSilkeborg is a member-driven organization for all business’ in the Silkeborg Municipality. We are the local business advisory organization; pleased to assist by providing expertise, inspiration and know-how whilst drawing on both advisors and our own experience. It is our intention that key words such as latitude, interaction, drive and competitiveness are to create new future ways and thus new opportunities of growth.
At present erhvervSilkeborg has more than 750 members covering all sectors and ranging from small one-man firms to large and complex organizations with more than 1,000 employees. Consequently, we have a profound knowledge of all business’ operating in the area and hold a comprehensive network, which we are pleased to open for any international, potential partner searching for partnerships in the area.
erhvervSilkeborg works continuously for improving the overall business environment in the area. This includes offering guidance and assistance within areas such as export drives, assessments of new markets, support from international and Danish funds and contacts to ministries and agencies. Other mayor tasks include offering assistance for entrepreneurs e.g. in developing business plans, controlling finances, assessing market conditions (200 new entrepreneurs each year) and operating two Business Development Houses / Incubators.
erhvervSilkeborg offers a broad variety of member services such as specific training or professional courses and we organize and direct network meetings. Furthermore, we are the natural link between all business’ in the area and various public and semi-public organizations as e.g. Silkeborg Municipality, the local County and a number of ministry backed organizations e.g. the Ministry of Foreign Affairs’ programs for export and international corporation.
